Business is personal

“It’s just business” – a famous (incomplete) phrase which led to many misconceptions related to business. Sometimes, we also like to use it, because it makes us feel detached from our own creation.

But business… is you. You are the creator of what you do and this also changes the surrounding environment. You cannot do something (material or immaterial), without being involved in it.

Trace back the jobs you’ve done or businesses you’ve created and observe them with the eyes of “now”. Do you notice how your essence, the way you are / behave / think / relate has put a mark on the direction of that job or business? On the people you work(ed) with, on the customers you had?

The more refined our awareness becomes, the more beautiful and meaningful our business becomes. It is a reflection of ourselves.
