Honoring creation, in all its shapes and forms
I have just realized what makes me incredibly pissed about breaking things or miss-using them (the Sun at my birth was in Aries, so I manage to get really … inflamed from inside out :)).
Initially, I thought it was my attachment to things, but it’s not that. It’s the feeling that creation is not honored.
I’ve just read an article written by a dear friend of mine (https://bralgei.com/the-real-detachment-letting-go) and, a few hours later, it just hit me! We are the custodians of what appears on our path, and it is our responsibility to treat it to its outmost beauty (which is love, after all). And, in my hurry to get things done or to arrive somewhere, I make the compromise of not keeping things in balance.
I think it might be easier to understand with an example: a few years ago I bought a house which is 200 years old, and it has walls made of rammed earth. My dream and desire was to restore it maintaining its original beauty and bring its spirit forward, to shine. In the process, I got carried away by time constraints and I did not take MY time to contemplate on things. This led to using a material that was not adapted to the intimate (invisible) fabric of the house, which, in time, led to water infiltrating the walls and part of the concrete to crumble. And today I’ve understood that the feelings that dwell in me due to this situation are not due to the fact that a mistake was made, or that I have to repair something that was newly restored or or or. My feelings are entirely related to the fact that I did not honor the spirit of the house; that, what was given in my care, was not restored completely to its innermost beauty / love.
And I also hold others responsible for the things they do because of not being present in the moment.
I hope this helps you bring some inner clarity as well. 🙂
